Woven Roving Fiberglass 18oz 50"

Woven Roving is an inexpensive way to laminate large flat areas, or minimal contours, requiring high strength and fast thickness building.  This fabric is woven with a 0°/90° orientation for strength performance in two directions.  This fabric provides the best performance when the weave is laminated parallel to expected loads with alternating plies applied at 45°. 

Woven roving is often used in conjunction with chopped strand mat as an alternating ply.  Please note that for multi ply laminates of woven roving and CSM, each layer of woven roving applied at 45° to the previous woven roving layer with the base layer applied parallel to the expected load.

Woven roving is compatible with polyester, vinyl ester, and epoxy resins; however, when used with chopped strand mat use only polyester and vinyl ester resins due to CSM not being compatible with epoxy.
